Recently, Zhengzhou Jiutian sawdust biochar production line successfully completed a trial run, demonstrating the effective conversion of sawdust into high quality biomass biochar through a controlled carbonization process.
As a common byproduct of sawmills, furniture manufacturing and wood processing industries, sawdust is widely available but can become a disposal challenge when it is generated in large quantities. Instead of treating sawdust only as a low value waste material, the carbonization process provides a practical way to transform this biomass residue into a valuable carbon rich product.
During the trial operation, prepared sawdust was continuously fed into the biomass carbonization system.Under controlled heating conditions and in a low oxygen environment, the organic components of the sawdust underwent thermal decomposition and gradually formed biochar.
For companies producing large amounts of sawdust, a carbonization line can provide an additional approach to biomass waste management while creating a potentially marketable biochar product.More importantly, the process connects wood processing waste management with biomass carbon utilization, helping companies explore new possibilities for their existing biomass resources.
Our sawdust biochar production line will continue to undergo optimization and testing to provide reliable solutions for customers looking to process sawdust and other biomass residues into biochar and other value added carbon products.
