Principle of carbonization: Log carbonization furnace and sawdust carbonization furnace are both processes by heating wood or wood chips to decompose and convert them into charcoal under anoxic conditions. Both stoves remove moisture and volatile materials from the wood, leaving behind charcoal with a high carbon content.
The difference:
1. Raw materials: The log carbonization furnace is mainly used to carbonize the entire log, while the sawdust carbonization furnace is suitable for carbonizing small pieces of wood such as wood chips, sawdust, and sawdust. Log charring furnaces are generally suitable for larger-sized wood, while sawdust charring furnaces are more suitable for smaller-sized wood chips.
2. Structure and design: Since the log carbonization furnace processes the entire log, its structure is usually large, and sometimes it is necessary to use mechanical equipment to put the logs into the furnace. Sawdust charring furnaces are usually smaller and wood chips can be placed into the furnace either manually or semi-automatically.
3. Carbonization efficiency: Since log carbonization furnaces usually process larger-sized wood, the carbonization process takes longer. The wood chips processed by the sawdust carbonizer are smaller in size, so the carbonization process can be completed faster.
