Wood chip carbonization technology mainly includes the following types:

1. High-temperature carbonization technology: This is a process of pyrolyzing wood chips in a closed high-temperature furnace. Organic matter in wood chips (such as cellulose and hemicellulose) decomposes under high temperature and anoxic conditions into solid carbon and a series of gases, including water vapor, methane, carbon monoxide and hydrogen. This process carbonizes the wood chips, thereby increasing their utilization value.

2. Continuous carbonization furnace technology: Using a continuous carbonization furnace with wood chips, the wood chips can be directly added to the drum of the carbonization furnace through a conveyor to perform pyrolysis and carbonization of organic matter. This technology can continuously produce wood biomass pellets for use in power plants, cement plants, industrial boilers, etc. It can also produce biochar for barbecues, activated carbon manufacturing, etc.

3. Gas-phase medium heating method: This method includes three stages: high-temperature drying, carbonization stage, and cooling and balancing treatment. In the high-temperature drying stage, the wood is rapidly heated to a certain temperature in the carbonization kiln (tank), reducing the moisture content of the wood to 0%. In the carbonization stage, the temperature is increased and steam is used as the heat transfer medium for carbonization. Finally, in the cooling and balancing treatment stage, the water cooling system and debugging system are used to reduce the wood temperature to a suitable range.
