What processes have gone through from sugarcane bagasse to biochar?

The discarded sugarcane residue from the sugar factory is processed in a carbonization furnace, which marks the transformation of waste and the reuse of resources! This is not only a redefinition of waste, but also the full utilization of resources. They have leapt from forgotten corners to biomass charcoal and become a treasure trove of green energy.

The conversion from sugarcane bagasse to biochar mainly goes through the following steps:

1. Drying treatment: Sugarcane bagasse needs to be dried to prepare for the subsequent carbonization process and reduce its moisture content to less than 15%.

2. Carbonization: The dried sugarcane bagasse enters the carbonization furnace for carbonization. Carbonization is a pyrolysis process in which sugarcane bagasse is heated under anoxic or microaerobic conditions, so that the volatile components in it are released at high temperatures to form gas and liquid products, while the solid part is gradually converted into charcoal.

3. Carbon removal: After carbonization is completed, the generated carbon will be taken out of the carbonization furnace through the automatic carbon removal device. In this process, materials enter the carbonization furnace continuously, and the entire production process is uninterrupted.

4. Processing (if necessary): The carbon obtained at this time is in the form of carbon powder. If it needs to be processed into carbon rods for barbecue or other shapes, it needs to be shaped. The specific steps are to mix toner, water and adhesive in a certain proportion, stir in a mixer, then extrude through a molding machine, and then cut to a certain length.
