How can the piles of coffee grounds be transformed into high-value biochar? The core of the coffee grounds carbonizer lies in the anaerobic pyrolysis technology. Without complex pretreatment, the equipment achieves efficient resource regeneration in three steps:
The waste coffee grounds enter the closed carbonization furnace through the automatic conveying system. After the intelligent ignition device is started, the system gradually heats up to above 300°C in an oxygen-deficient environment, triggering the primary decomposition of the coffee grounds. This stage cleverly uses the volatile gas of the raw material itself as the initial heat source to reduce external energy dependence.
When the temperature rises to the core carbonization range of 500–900°C, the organic matter in the coffee grounds is deeply cracked in an oxygen-free environment. The volatile combustible gas is filtered by the purification system, recovered in real time and transported to the combustion chamber to continuously supply energy for the carbonization process, forming a closed-loop system of "waste heat supply". This design greatly reduces energy consumption and achieves 24-hour continuous operation.
The hot biochar after cracking enters the spiral water cooling device, rapidly cools down and shapes within 30 seconds, and outputs high-purity carbon powder. At the same time, the by-product wood tar is automatically collected through a dedicated pipeline and converted into industrial raw materials, achieving zero resource waste throughout the process.
The coffee grounds carbonization machine uses the power of technology to give waste coffee grounds a new life - from pollution source to clean energy, it only takes one smart choice!
